Aaron Reminds Us: Recovery Looks Different for Everyone

Aaron understands that everyone’s journey with substance use disorder (SUD) is unique, which is why the path to recovery can look different for each person.

Aaron makes an effort to understand and connect with everyone in his recovery community, even when their stories differ from his own. As he says, "The way that I am actively recovering is not necessarily the way that other people need to do that." Aaron knows recovery looks different for everyone, and he believes celebrating those differences is a big part of forming real, meaningful connections.
